Introduction to Copic Marker Coloring

Join Tracie for Copic coloring classes at the Clubhouse this winter!  Tracie is a certified Copic Marker instructor and has been coloring with these professional quality markers for over a decade. 

Introduction to Copic Marker Coloring - Saturday, February 22, 10:30am-12:30pm.  Think you might like to color with Copics but not sure where to start?  We'll cover all the details: which stamping inks to use, which papers work best, how to choose your marker colors, how to care for your markers (it's easy), why they are a great investment and more.  Then we'll start working on basic techniques like two and three color blends, feathering, smooth coloring and then adding texture. Class is $30 and includes a copy of Marianne Walker’s book Intro to Coloring with Copic Markers, which we will use for some of our exercises and you can continue to practice with on your own.

We will provide markers to use in this intro class, it is not necessary to have your own.  In fact, if you would like to purchase markers, we would encourage you to wait until the day of class.  We will be available to help you choose the right colors to start with depending on what you like to color.  We can also help you choose the best colors to match what you already own if you do have some.  And, since we offer an everyday discount up to 25% off on Copic markers, you will definitely want to take advantage of our expertise and purchase them from the Clubhouse at a fabulous price!
