Get ready to work inside the box… literally! In this workshop we’ll use a Tim Holtz Ideology Vignette Divided Drawer as the base of our project. You can create horizontally or vertically as we build and layer in the three parts of this project. We’ll use air dry clay, paint, and wire to make our own embellishments and then use them throughout our work. Part one will be an accordion art journal, part two is a dimensional collage, and part three will be a mini vignette inside of a small bell jar. As we work we’ll discuss different collage ideas for both flat and dimensional work and we’ll incorporate lots of different types of embellishments and materials. In the end, you’ll have a unique piece that’s ready to display!
